Nobody is shouting anything. My comment wasn't just meant to be confined to the Welsh - it's just that the conversation was about them. It is applicable to all independence seekers in the UK at the moment , including the Scottish. There is no problem in their wanting independence, but then there is no reason why rUK should continue to pay at the level that is happening at the moment.
It is funny that it is the English, who actually bear the brunt of a lot of the costs, are the ones who are most supportive of the continuation of the Union. Though to be fair, why should places with their own devolved assemblies/parliaments be allowed to vote on things that affect only the English, because the English don't have their own assembly/parliament?

Many Welsh that I have met simply want independence - without the cost of providing for themselves.

Couldn’t agree more. It was time it was stopped. Though, trying to say HS2 was a welsh benefit was and is a piss take!
