Are Muslim values Canadian values?
Hands up all who agree that “Muslim values are Canadian values?
No? Well Canadian PM Carney begs to differ!
In a speech delivered last month, at an Eid event hosted by the Muslim Association of Canada in Ottawa, Carney declared, "Muslim values are Canadian values."
Are they?
Carney’s statement was supposed to promote “unity and combat Islamophobia” but unsurprisingly it ignited a firestorm of controversy further exposing Carney's detachment from Canada's historical and cultural foundations.
His assertion totally ignores profound incompatibilities between Islamic values and Canada's pluralist democratic ethos. How can you square Canada, a country founded on CHRISTIAN values that favour freedom of speech and the separation go church and state, with the intolerance of Sharia law or Muslim teachings on issues like women's rights and apostasy? You simply can’t and Carney is a fool for suggesting otherwise. Maybe he is more than just a fool?
Let’s remember Carney’s globalist background. An absolute elitist, he is way out of touch with everyday Canadians. He’s spinelessly prioritising multicultural platitudes over national identity. Canada has rising immigration tensions and security concerns but Carney ignores that. In doing so he is betraying Canada and grovelling to Islam.
His statement also reeks of naked political opportunism. He’s alienating vast swaths of the Canadian people whilst failing to address real challenges.
“Muslim values" are NO compatible with equality and freedom and Carney is signalling that Canada embraces them. He is betraying Canada.

Multiculturalism is not benign, enlightened, tolerant, inclusive. It's unpatriotic, dismissive of historical identity, short-sighted, unimaginative. It weakens a nation b/c our primary feeling of community derives from a national in-group attachment, which embeds loyalty in our value system. Carney is a repugnant little man with no apparent loyalty to Canada; he takes no pride in Canada, our history, our achievements as a nation, or the values that animated us. His only loyalty is to a globalist post-national soft totalitarian future for Canada. His primary personality trait is an apparent compulsive dishonesty. He cannot be trusted.
