Audacious Criminality

Home Secretary and “Refugees Welcome” enthusiast Yvette Cooper has responded to the street violence that defaced the Harehills area of Leeds by claiming that the “full weight of the law” will come to bear on the identified rioting thugs. But what does that mean when at the very same time our Prisons are being emptied of convicts? And how will she deal with the fact that those carrying out this violence are all from ethnic minority communities? Labour and the upholding of the rule of law do NOT mix.
