The tide appears to be turning in the Gender ideology wars and it’s now happening in the United States!
“The US Supreme Court has upheld a Tennessee law banning gender transition care for young people, in a decision expected to have consequences nationwide, given that 25 states have similar laws. The justices voted 6 to 3 that the 2023 law restricting minors' access to treatments such as puberty blockers was not discrimination. Three Tennessee transgender teenagers, their parents, and a doctor who provides transition medications had argued the state's ban violated a US constitutional guarantee of equal protection under the law by discriminating on the basis of sex. The case, known as United States v Skrmetti, was the first time the court had taken up transgender healthcare.”
And it’s a big loss for the child mutilation cult! All three Democrat judges voted in favour of enabling puberty blockers which tells you all you need to know about their absolute warped priorities.
I think puberty blockers are a very dangerous invention and denying their use seems a sensible move. But what are they exactly and how do they work?
Well, they are medications that are designed to delay or at least suppress the physical changes of puberty or in some cases, for medical conditions like precocious puberty. They work by inhibiting the release of sex hormones (estrogen or testosterone) from the pituitary gland, typically through gonadotropin-releasing hormone analogs like leuprolide or histrelin. This pauses developments such as breast growth, voice deepening, or menstruation.
They are not without their danger. Potential effects include reduced bone density, mood changes, hot flashes, or delayed growth. Long-term data is limited.
Worse than that, they clearly indulge mental illness.
The global puberty blocker market is estimated at ¢1.7 billion (2023) and is due to triple in size next ten years. So there are a lot if vested interests in getting these drugs into young people.
However, several countries have restricted the use of puberty blockers, citing insufficient evidence on their benefits for gender-questioning youth and potential long-term effects. The United Kingdom has banned puberty blockers for children and adolescents under age 18, making it the latest country in Western Europe to limit access to the treatment for transgender and gender-questioning youth. The rule extends a temporary ban on the sale and supply of puberty blockers, which delay the physical changes associated with puberty, such as the growth of breasts, testicles, and body hair, and a deeper voice.
Personally I think puberty blockers should be taken off the market!
