BBC erasing Islamic terror

Further to my story here yesterday concerning the multiple stabbing of Army Chaplain Father Paul Murphy at an Irish Army barracks in Galway, it has been instructive to compare and contrast how the UK and Irish Media have covered this shocking act of violence against an unarmed cleric.

Here is the Irish press on the news story.

Pretty clear, right? It’s the usual “lone wolf” angle, mysteriously radicalised, of course, but at least it makes a clear link to Islamic terrorism.

Now, let’s have a look at how the BBC covers it.

Any connection to radical Islam has been erased. It was just a generic stabbing, the name cannot be known as he is under 18, so please move along, nothing to see. The UK National Broadcaster is out to sanitise and erase in order to maintain an approved narrative.

Why? Trying to wish away the radical Islamic connection achieves nothing and certainly is dishonest with the public BUT we have seen how over these last few weeks the British Government has chosen to “stand with Muslims” and so stories like are counter-narrative and thus best minimised.

The British Media COULD have chosen to explore why it is for the first time in 102 years that the Irish Army fired shots in anger on Irish soil but it didn’t. The British Media COULD have chosen to explore HOW a teenager gets so radicalised that he chooses to stab a Christian Priest but it didn’t. The British Media COULD have chosen to find out if this is an indicative of a broader problem in Ireland but it didn’t. The entire British mainstream media is hopelessly cucked and colluding with the State to close down debate before it starts.
