Boris and Nigel double act?
One of the coups of the recent Reform Conference was unveiling the defection of former Conservative Minister Nadine Dorries! But is she more of a liability than an asset?
Dorries, once a key ally in Boris Johnson's cabinet, now declares that the Conservative Party is "dead," lambasting them for ousting "election-winning prime ministers" like her hero, Boris! She seems to have forgotten that his politics, built on bluster, broken promises, and personal scandals, ultimately torpedoed the Conservative Party's credibility! I am really not sure that she has any political discernment!
Which then leads to an examination of her starry-eyed suggestion that Boris Johnson and Nigel Farage should “unite”
She has said that the 'biggest egos in modern British politics' should form a pact to bring down Sir Keir Starmer's malfunctioning Government.
“If there's a will to make the lives of people better, then I think both men could and would find some way to accommodate each other's egos and to coexist for the sake of the country.”
I think this is impossible and Nigel Farage has pretty much said the same thing. He knows that Johnson carries too much baggage, too many betrayals. Introducing Boris Johnson into Reform would cause havoc and Farage can see that. But Dorries can’t!
Nadine Dorries was also very keen on the introduction of the draconian anti free speech “On-line safety bill
Again, really poor judgement.
I have many questions about Reform but one thing is for sure, having Nadine as a member is unhelpful!

Boris and Nigel. God forbid!
Boris is a loose cannon and Farage is smooth and oily.
Put those two together and they would never be on the same field, much less the same page.
It would be the marriage made only by force and would blow apart at any second.
Both are pragmatists.
Neither is worthy of trust.
