Bruce Springsteen- "dried out prune!"

I’ll be honest, I DO like some songs that Bruce Springsteen has released over the years, some. I didn’t care for “Born to Run” but I did like his “Born in the USA’ stuff and a few singles such as “Hungry Heart” and most particularly “Brilliant Disguise’ in the mid-80’s. However listening to the music is much better than ever watching him. I always found his “working class man of the people schtick” embarrassing given that he has been a millionaire since the mid-”70’s.

However it’s his politicking that gets my goat.

He is a devout supporter of the Democrats and coseyed up to the child sniffing degenerate Biden as occasion suited. You can smell the sulphur in this photo.

Naturally, the election of Donald Trump to the White House has triggered him and this was evident in this rant from him on-stage in the UK a few days ago.

Springsteen blethered hysterically…

“There’s some very weird, strange, and dangerous shit going on out there right now. In America, they are persecuting people for using their right to free speech and voicing their dissent. This is happening now. In America, the richest men are taking satisfaction in abandoning the world’s poorest children to sickness and death. This is happening now. In my country, they’re taking sadistic pleasure in the pain they inflict on loyal American workers. They’re rolling back historic civil rights legislation that has led to a more just and plural society. They are abandoning our great allies and siding with dictators against those struggling for their freedom. They are defunding American universities that won’t bow down to their ideological demands. They are removing residents off American streets and, without due process of law, are deporting them to foreign detention centers and prisons. This is all happening now.”

This did not go un-noticed by President Trump who did NOT hold back!

Springsteen is 75 years old and yet it seems to be he has never grown up.
