This article is going to be different from my usual servings. Traditionally, I tend to write about an issue that is live in the public domain. My reason for this week’s change is the news I received some time ago about a YouTuber I follow called Charlie Veitch. Despite my aversion to the vast majority of technological advances over the past 20 years, YouTube is something that I really enjoy. In fact it’s fair to say that I watch YouTube videos more frequently that I watch the rubbish that fills the vast majority of Freeview channels each evening.

One of the things I love about YouTube is how it has facilitated the rise of so-called ‘citizen journalists’ – not just here in the UK but across the world. When I was a teenager, I could depend on the news programmes of the day to tell the news as it actually was. There was never any suggestion that the anchor had a particular bias, or that the news channel itself might be economical with the truth. As a prime example, how many of you watched Sir Alastair Burnet read the news on ITN back in the day? How many of you actually knew that Burnet, although a Yorkshireman by birth, was Scottish by heritage? How many of you knew he was a passionate Rangers FC supporter who used to like nothing less that returning to his dressing room after ‘News at Ten’ had concluded, drowning a few drams of Scotch and bursting into a rendition of ‘The Sash My Father Wore’? For the accomplished professionals of yesteryear such as he, you would never have known their political or cultural leanings. Today, that has all gone. Since the rise of both social media and 24-hour news channels, it’s very easy to tell which presenters have political bias and where that bias lies (

). On top of that, we have issues that occur in everyday life in the Britain/Europe of the 2020s that would otherwise go under the media radar (probably deliberately) if it weren’t for those who go out and record the managed decline of our respective countries in real time.

You don’t have to agree with every single one of their opinions, or every single video, and you don’t necessarily have to endorse the manner by which they generate some of their content. But what you can do is appreciate the invaluable service and information they provide in a world where there is so much corruption, denial and secrecy. As I’ve said previously, if the British state is capable of concealing an epidemic of rape inflicted on young girls by Pakistani Muslims over at least four decades for the ‘sake of diversity and cultural harmony’, there are no depths to which it will not plunge to hide the general public from the truthful consequences of actions and policies it has inflicted on us.

My purpose here is to encourage readers to watch and/or subscribe to these channels and others like them. For I sense there will be moves in the future by this government or its lackeys to censor (or attempt to censor) videos made by these people. I already know the efforts made by GM Police to prevent Veitch and others from entering central Manchester (https://www.prolificnorth.co.uk/news/controversial-youtuber-charlie-veitch-charged-with-public-order-offence-and-banned-from-manchester-city-centre/). A glance at Google will tell you several YouTubers were banned for ‘affray’. The question is ‘why?’ In addition to the accounts I’ve mentioned above, I have also watched many videos from two of those YouTube accounts on the banned list (‘My Brakes Don’t Work’ and ‘Dave the Manc Patriot’) and I have yet to see anything other than an excellent exposé of the detritus that now infests large parts of northern England’s largest city – especially the United Nations refugee camp many of us used to know as Piccadilly Gardens. To say walking around Piccadilly Gardens is an unpleasant experience would be the understatement of 2026. Not only is the place rife with just about every nationality on the planet, drinking and drug misuse take place openly.

Feel free to come to your own conclusions, but I think there is something very wrong with a police force and a council that together have permitted the most vile anti-Jewish and anti-Israel protests to occur on a weekly basis for nigh on 30 months, yet are keen to ban those who uncover the dark underbelly of life in that city on what are – in my opinion – the pretexts of ‘affray’. Whereas Veitch and Jarmain Patrick have concentrated the bulk of their video production on events in and around Manchester, the others have documented a similar decline and fall in many other European cities. The common thread that links them all? They have been utterly transformed by mass migration – the ideological cornerstone of a European Union and a United Kingdom incapable of defending their external frontiers.

We live in an era where politicians, sympathetic media voices, Left-leaning organisations and mini-armies of Antifa agitators try desperately to tell us that the seismic changes we’ve seen with our own eyes aren’t real: That there hasn’t been huge demographic change across urban Europe over the past three decades; that demonstrations of unspeakably ugly anti-Jewish gatherings are merely about solidarity with those who are suffering in Gaza; that men can decide they’re women and that’s the end of the matter; where we’re told how fantastic it is to live in a multicultural society, even as statistic after statistic piles up showing us irrefutable proof of the contrary….and so on.

What I find so refreshing about the YouTubers I’ve listed above – and many others, is that their cameras show us how things actually are. An appreciation of reality is a rare commodity in far too many of our journalists, news reporters, politicians, and civic society movers. Thank heavens for those ordinary men and women who’ve used the marvels of modern tech to strike a blow for honest coverage and revelation.
