I’ve been rooting for the Daleks for some time as the BBC has gone about the process of making the long standing Dr Who franchise as woke as possible. First, it made the Time Lord a woman and after that we got our first ethnic Doctor Who. But the wheels have come off, to the surprise of no one who has ensured any of the non-binary pro gay pro Drag Queen scripts pushed upon the Doctor Who franchise and it looks like the series may be cancelled. Just as well, as a trans Doctor Who was probably next in line!
Ncuti Gatwa, the Rwandan actor who made history as the first Black Doctor in Doctor Who, faces an uncertain future with the iconic BBC series. Reports suggest Gatwa may have been axed after just two seasons, with plummeting ratings attributed to polarising “woke” storylines
It was Donald Trump who pointed out that “everything woke turns to sh*t” and he was quite right. The 62-year-old Dr Who sci-fi series, beloved for its time-traveling adventures, has faced a torrent of criticism for recent plots involving non-binary aliens, incels, and reimagined villains. We even had an episode where Gatwa’s Doctor openly identified as gay! We’ve come a long way from the first Dr, played by William Hartnell. I watched this programme as a child and it was scary yet highly watchable. Obviously things changed over the decades and by the late 1980’s it has run out of steam. It was re-invented and from the turn of the century it became quite decent, more gritty, and grounded in good plots. But 2018 ushered in Jodie Whittaker as the first female doctor (Equality, right?) and then Ncuta got the gig from 2023.
Adding to the controversy, Gatwa withdrew from presenting the UK’s Eurovision jury scores shortly after Israel’s Yuval Raphael, a survivor of the October 7 attacks, qualified for the final with her song New Day Will Rise. Gatwa, who has been vocal in his support for Palestine, was replaced by Sophie Ellis-Bextor. Looks like his political activism is not far from the surface.
Dr Who has been badly infected by the woke virus and it seems best that the series is now retired. Time to put the Doctor into cryogenic suspension!

Stop watching mainstream live broadcasts and stop paying the TV tax under the guise of a license. It’s the only way this nonsense is going to stop.
