Defending the Indefensible!
I see that the goons in Hampshire Police are claiming that Henry Nowak would have died anyway, regardless of whether he was handcuffed or not.
Oh right, I see, that sorts it all out then? I don’t think so
They have issued an official defence for the actions taken by their officers who handcuffed 18-year-old Henry Nowak as he was pleading for help and bleeding out.
The medical examiner has testified that Vickrum Digwa’s 21 cm blade had caused a catastrophic wound directly to Henry's heart. Because the blade penetrated so deeply, the blood was pooling inside his chest cavity rather than soaking his clothes immediately. According to the pathologist, the trauma to his heart was unsurvivable from the moment it occurred, arguing that it didn't matter who was handcuffed at the scene first.
The Deputy Chief Constable has also publicly stated that
"the pathologist who spoke in court was clear: there was nothing officers could have done that day to save Henry. His wound was deep and internal, the bleeding extensive but internal."
Henry's father, Mark Nowak, stressed that while the wound was fatal, the police's mishandling denied his son the right to die with dignity, care, or peace.
THAT is exactly the right point. The Police robbed him of any dignity in his final moments. And they did so with callous disregard!
Essentially, the Hampshire Police shifted their narrative on Henry Nowak from "we did nothing wrong" to "he would have died anyway, so the delay doesn't matter."
If ever you wanted to know just out of touch the Police have become, reflect on this.
Hampshire Police make me feel sick.

His last experience on earth after being stabbed for no reason by a criminal already known to the police, was to be laughed at by the police who were meant to help him, dragged across gravel when he couldn’t even stand up and his hands pulled behind his back which no doubt would have made his chest injuries bleed more causing him excruciating pain, making breathing harder and place his hands in handcuffs and was read his rights…. Rights he did not deserve to be read as he committed no crime. Regardless telling them he had been stabbed and couldn’t breath, the police told him “I don’t think so mate” That was Henrys last experience on earth and the police did this. They played a role in his death.
Thoracotomy. He was only 10 minutes from A & E. Survivability is 10-15% but he was denied even that chance.
