Driving Car Manufacturing over the cliff!
It was really quite surreal to see UK PM Keir Starmer visit the Jaguar Landrover car manufacturing plant in the West Midlands yesterday and announce that his Government was going to “help” British car manufacturers by …doubling down on net zero!!!!! WTF!
Anyone with eyes can see that the UK’s crazy net zero strategy, with its aggressive push toward electric vehicles (EVs), is steering the nation’s car industry over a cliff. Starmer’s reinstatement yesterday of the 2030 ban on new petrol and diesel car sales, coupled with the Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) mandate, is a recipe for economic disaster.
