Excellent post, David!👍 What many fail to realize is that Islam is not really a religion, rather it’s a system of governance thinly veiled by a shroud of religion. This system of governance is not compatible with the civilized Western world, as it’s a medieval system which empowers Muslim men to dominate all women and any non Muslim men. It’s really as simple as that. While there may be some Muslims who reject Sharia law, their objections never seem to be voiced at a level that is either heard or heeded. Muslim majority countries are, without exception, cauldrons of intolerance and hate, with non Muslims placed in a permanently subordinate position, assuming the non Muslims are even allowed to live in such countries. Islam is a cancer ♋️ infecting any country to which it is exposed.
There is no 1 standardised Sharī'ah Law either. It's all based on interpretation, according to the Jurisprudents from the different Schools of Thought. Who is going to regulate these Courts?
It is definite proof, if any further evidence were needed, that Muslims have no intention of integrating, have no respect for our rule of law, and are a law unto themselves.
This is totally unacceptable and unsustainable in any society.
You cannot have a dual legal system running simultaneously it is unheard of.
We have a constitution underpinned by the Bill of Rights which Sharia Law laughs in the face of.
It is utterly and totally ridiculous and needs to be ended and put down !

They should be illegal

If someone is not satisfied with the British law and prefers the Sharia law, he must leave Britain and move to a country with the Sharia law.
We stopped having British Law when we acceded to UN law and then EU law.
Any dilution of British law is due to accepting foreign rulings as superior to our laws.
And what about the Beth din? Anything to say about the Jewish court system that runs in this country ?
