Trump is reversing the trend of globalist taking the wealth out of the US? Really? So he puts tariffs on countries inhabited only by monkeys? (See Heard and McDonald Islands) or with no exports to the US (see tariffs against Jan Mayen and Tokelau)? Puts 17% tariffs on israel (israel has no tariffs on US imports) and 10% on Iran? Puts tariffs on nations with little or no trade imbalance (see Brazil and Singapore)? Puts tariffs on our major allies? Proposes to put 100% tariffs on foreign films (Americans spend .2% of their box office dollars on foreign made films)? Puts tariffs on nations with no exports in which we have a military base (see Jan Mayen and Tokelau)? I could go on. Clearly you can’t see the light of day through your red tinted glasses.
I'm useless at maths, but even I can see that the U.S. is only enacting the exact same measures on a business level, that the other countries are doing. Except, Trump has been very generous on the whole with the reasonably slight tariffs imposed. Fairs fair in business. The loudest voices are the ones who have had their hands in the cookie jar, robbing the U. S. tax payers..
