The last nine months has seen the Reform party surge in the polls in the UK with it seemingly posing a genuine electoral threat to the toxic Labour/Conservative hegemony which has served us so badly. A significant number of Brits want to vote for something that actually addresses their concerns on the big issues of immigration, free speech and Islam.
The Nigel Farage led party seemed to indicate it would tackle these issues but to my mind that leadership is showing itself to be decidedly untrustworthy and plain nasty.
The first clue came last July when the eminently patriotic Ben Habib was given the heave ho. I know Ben personally and can attest that he is a polite gentleman with solid political instincts and yet he was unceremoniously REMOVED from his position of Deputy Leader as the unelected Zia Yusuf became President. Zia helpfully donated £200k to party funds. But it was Nigel Farage’s response to the removal of Ben Habib that was shocking and plain vicious. He delighted in removing Ben.
Many Reform voters are worried about the role of Islam in the UK. Farage has dismissed their concerns which I am sure will please Zia Yusuf. Totally defeatist
Then there was this really nasty attack on the ousted Rupert Lowe by Farage ally Richard Tice, weaponising dementia of all things in a sly wink wink nudge nudge way. This was particularly nauseating to see and yet this IS the face of the Reform leadership.
I could go on. There are also some worrying insights into HOW Reform attracted people like new Reform MP Lee Anderson. Here is Lee telling us!!!
The crunch question is whether Reform is a genuine alternative to the existing political parties or is it contrived captured and manipulated to keep people within the agreed Overton Window? The more I hear from the Reform leadership the more I feel it is not what many members think it is.
And Farage is proven to be thin skinned and nasty.
Elon Musk was right!

I hadn’t seen the clip from GBN of Nigel destroying Ben Habib so publicly. It tells me more about him than Ben. I am now convinced that Nigel Farage, with his dismissive approach to the increasing Muslim problem, is a defeatist and traitor.
We need mass deportations as so many others have said. We also need to make Islam an exception to the freedom of religion principle because it is also a totalitarian political cult, opposed to our laws and culture.
We did it successfully in the past with Catholicism. It was tough but we saved our country’s independence. We didn’t repeal the Test Act until 1828, with good reason. Unity is strength, not diversity, and that is what the Test Act gave us. Catholicism was no longer a threat by the time we accepted it and it had reformed.
Now we must deal with Islam. Refuse British citizenship to Muslim children born here. Ban the burqa. Ban Sharia Law. Close the Muslim schools. Ban outdoor prayer for Muslims. Make any crime a reason for deportation for the offender and their family. Restrict all high office, the police, the Services, the judiciary, political positions AND the civil service to Muslims. Ban any future property ownership. Ban the selling or printing of the Koran. They will retreat.
I have always maintained Farrage is a plant, the other side of the same wall as Starmer. Not to be trusted, the havoc he wreaked on The Brexit Party and UKIP are testimony to his antics. Reform, with him and Zia cannot be taken seriously.
