I came back to faith a few years ago, but decided to ditch my old Catholic faith for one based on the bible. Successive Popes have proven useless at standing up for Biblical truths. Islam is a false religion founded by a fraud and followed by savages. Now other faiths are not to be followed due to their failure to recognise Jesus Christ as the son of God and our only means of salvation.. However these faiths are peaceful, unlike the horrific doctrine of Mohamedism, which should be filed along Nazism and Communism.
We all can speak to "God" as and when, we don't need intermediaries - that was a construct of religious organisations for profit and power way back as far as ancient times with "the gods", but prayers/willing does help.
It's the duty of the Pope to be a peacemaker whenever possible. As for attacking Trump, that was a mild abraiding, and look at the response. Looking at the effects and wider ramifications yet to be fully realised, but already appearing on the horizon, many of "his decisions and actions" it would appear that those suspicions and doubts were well founded. I would also point out that I am a Roman Catholic and have my doubts and suspicions about the Pontiff too, along with his predecessor. They also appear to be justified. A broken clock is right twice a day. One has to realise that just because the comment comes from compromised and suspect sources, doesn't make them wrong, only that theres probably more underlying those comments than what may be stated or seem apparent. A wise man seeks to learn from his enemies and rivals, as well as his friends and allies.
