Is the UK becoming an Islamic Republic?

Just how FAST is the United Kingdom Islamifying?

Let’s try and get real solid FACTS on this crucial issue.

There are currently around 2,200 Mosques in the UK. By way of contrast, we have around 40,000 Churches. So whilst mosques are growing they are still a small minority of total places of worship. They are also concentrated in muslim communities although we know that this is changing, with the South Lakes Islamic Centre under construction in Dalton-in-Furness, Cumbria, near the Lake District. These “Super Mosques” are a disturbing new development.

Muhammad is indeed the top baby boys’ name in the UK. The name has gone from being one of the top 20 boys’ names ten years ago to the undisputed #1 spot for two consecutive years, driven by both steady demographic expansion and sharper year-on-year increases recently. The upward trend shows no sign of slowing down. If demography is destiny then there should give pause for thought. The situation is a bit complicated by the fact that many Muslim parents will call their boys “Muhammad” as a tribute to their prophet and then add a second name.

2025 ONS data shows 37% employment rate for Muslim women, meaning 63% are not employed. This means that the majority of muslim women are a drain on the British taxpayer as they will most likely be claiming every form of benefit. There is a stark irony in the fact that many white British mothers feel they have no option but to go out to work to pay the bills, whilst most muslim mothers stay at home and reap the Welfare benefits. This is perverse and a serious nation would do something about it.

The most pertinent factor is how fast growing is the Muslim population. This is projected to be around 16-17% of the total UK population by the year 2050, according to medium and high migration scenarios from the Pew Research Centre. This is a significant increase from the current figure of about 6% (4 million Muslims as of 2025) of the UK population.

So if I am still around by 2050, I will live in a country with some 12 million muslims. They tend to vote as a group and that means that there will be be a strong muslim representation in Parliament. As we have seen, their interests tend to be in the broader Umma, not the UK. By definition, that will further shift the UK away from the pluralist democracy towards a more radical and Islam centred entity.

Can this be stopped? I doubt it. Not unless we have a radical pro British pro Christian Government and even then, it is hard to see how you get around the demographic trends.
