Ben Franklin understood the fundamental truth that “Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote”.
Here in the UK we don’t even have well armed lambs to contest the vote. Up until this point, we have been ruled by a Uniparty called Lib/Lab/Con.
But it looks like this is going to change come 2029.
Just take a look at this poll if you will.
If this is in anyway true, the UK Uniparty will be dead and buried and we will have Prime Minister Farage and a Reform majority government. Labour will be destroyed, the Conservatives erased and a new era for British politics emerge. Is this plausible?
I think it might be and we will see further evidence in real life election results like this one in blood red Labour Wales.
Yes, it is ONLY a Council seat but just look at the collapse of Labour in Wales
The next Welsh Assembly Election is 7th May 2026. Labour have dominated Welsh politics since devolution in 1999 and occupy 30 of the 60 seats. Next year, the Assembly expands the number of seats to 90. It looks like Reform could capture a quarter of these, the Labour vote will drop dramatically and the hegemony will end.
The next Scottish Parliament Election is due on the same day, 7th May 2026. A further seismic earthquake awaits. Reform UK will leapfrog Scottish Labour and the Tories to become the main opposition at this election, new polling suggests. After the party's general election triumph, in which it became not only the party of government but the party with the most Scottish MPs, it was thought that Labour was in contention to form the next Scottish Government.
But the latest figures suggest it is not on course to form the administration, nor become the largest opposition party. Compiled by pollsters Survation, the results put Scottish Labour and Reform neck-and-neck for the constituency contest. Reform are sitting on an amazing 21 likely seats, Labour on 18 and the Conservatives on 13. The SNP are on course to win 58 seats however so their grip on the Scottish political consciousness is still high, remarkable when you consider how hopeless they have been for decades. However there main opposition looks to be Reform!
Farage is doing something which will kill off Labour and Conservatives. He is attacking Labour from the Left on certain issues and then attacking the Conservatives from the right. He likes to spin this as “common sense” and it is deadly for his rivals.

Great points from Kat.
I think Farage’s body is being propped up by fags and booze at this point and — joking aside — he can afford decent healthcare and most importantly, I think his willpower will keep him going, he’s had his eyes on this prize for some time now.
At the moment Labour don’t have anyone to replace Starmer, let alone anyone who’s a threat to Farage. Of course, that could change, but it’s not a problem at the moment.
Assassination is a possibility but lawfare — same as we saw with the efforts of the establishment to frustrate Brexit — is a certainty. Farage has been consistent on the ECHR and unless/until he can get us out of that, we won’t be able to control immigration and the associated expense.
Four years is a long time. How do we keep Nigel off the fags and booze to stay alive that long and will someone in Labour kick Starmer out to where he deserves before this horrible government’s time is up? Who will replace Starmer? 😱
Who on Earth votes for the LibDems? Are there really that many brain-dead people in Britain? The Scots are easily brainwashed by the SNP because national pride outweighs everything there and they assume England is all London. Thus, they will welcome being overrun by Asians and Africans because will prove to them that they aren’t really bigots of the first water as they appear, because at least their invaders aren’t English. The Hamza Youssef experience has taught them nothing.
There is always the possibility for the first time in Britain of assassination. Pakistani political history is full of it. How else do desperate people remove the irremovable object when democracy fails? Starmer shouldn’t be giving speeches in his shirtsleeves. He needs a flak jacket.
We must remember that life is full of hope.
