The contrived weekend pile-on of Nigel Farage by the UK political and media elite is a truly sickening sight to behold. It is essentially a British variant of the “Trump is a Russian Agent” scam that they ran in 2016. The Establishment hates disruptors, anything that disturbs their cosy Uniparty consensus. Trump was a primary disruptor and so is Farage. In recent weeks, the momentum of the Reform party under Farage has been remarkable and it does look the Conservatives are going to be crushed. This is a very disturbing prospect for the Uniparty and so stopping Farage was crucial.
I covered the actual hit job here so I don’t want to repeat myself. Instead I wanted to talk about the possible explanation for the media panic against Reform. You see there are two types of opinion poll - public and private. The Polling Organisations that produce the PUBLIC polls make no money from them as the information is freely available. It engages the media and gains them profile. But the same polling organisations also provide PRIVATE polls and I suspect this is where the real worries originate. Let’s consider what might really be happening in the background that necessitated the Farage hit-job.
Could it be that the picture that the Private Polls presents is so disastrous for BOTH Labour and Conservatives that urgent action had to be taken? Reform have offered clear distinct policies that are backed up by BREXIT sensibilities.
Do remember that 8 years ago today, the majority of people voting in the Brexit Referendum, voted to LEAVE. There were significant numbers of Labour voters as well as Conservative voters wishing to leave and the one thing they all see is years of Conservative betrayal.
Until Farage entered the scene, I suspect that they reluctantly were going to return to Labour although Starmer clearly wishes to see the essence of Brexit erased. Suddenly, from nowhere, up pops Farage and he starts pushing truth bombs and lo and behold the Reform Party start surging past the Conservatives in the PUBLIC polls. But we all see Labour share starting to fall in the PUBLIC polls. So is Reform taking votes from BOTH sides of the Uniparty with its clear policies and in particular on immigration?
What’s transparently clear is that neither Labour or Conservatives have any intention of doing a damn thing about stopping the invasion of our Nation by legal and illegal migrants. But Reform are very clear on the issue and their “Net Zero migrants” policy is at least a starting point! It appeals to the 17,410,742 people who turned out to reject the EU and take back control of their borders and THAT might be the reason for Uniparty concern. Contrary to what the media pretends, that wish to control our borders is still alive and if anything time has accentuated that wish as our cities and towns become increasingly unrecognisable. Might Reform have tapped into this and therefore is that why the Establishment are out to smear him/
