After a week of the mainstream media and political establishment demonising Nigel Farage and Reform, things took an ever more disturbing twist with the shocking news that senior Reform speaker, 78 year old Ann Widdecombe, had been found dead and that it looked like murder.
I really grew to love Ann Widdecombe- didn’t agree with her on everything, but she proved herself to be superbly intelligent, wise, and a human being who commanded the highest respect. I am devastated at the manner of her death. RIP Ann.
The left parties are sowing division with their name calling hatred. Nigel needs that 5 million for his security even more as Starmer cut his security. They want Nigel out of the way and will stop at nothing. It’s Trump 2. Like Jill Dando, Ann knew too much.

I am profoundly saddened by this terrible ending for the Great Ann Widdecombe. I loved reading her excellent columns in the International Express. The times are not for good gentle patriotic people; a life well lived and immeasurable contribution and dedication cannot shield any of us from the Lefts’ murderous demons, who walk our streets. Let not our hearts be troubled. We shall prevail; live by the fine example set by Ann Widdecombe who was one of Englands’ finest. May her memory be a blessing.
It shows us how important security is to politicians on the Right, even if no longer serving in Parliament. Starmer stopped Nigel Farage's security payments and is now trying to stop him from using the money donated for that purpose. If any harm comes to Nigel Farage or his family, let it be known that Keir Starmer will be responsible. Starmer is a very, very nasty bit of work and slyly dangerous. Several people have wondered if this will turn out to be another Jill Dando but I have a better comparison of which I have a personal connection to . A wonderful lady called Joan Macan was found murdered ( bludgeoned to the head) on her 81 birthday at her home where she lived alone. Joan was not only a Crufts dog judge and breeder but also a war heroine where she helped save British airmen behind enemy lines. She had that fateful night just returned home from a dog club meeting where my late wife was in attendance (they later re enacted the meeting for crime watch) Although a white man was arrested no one was ever charged and the murder in 1988 remains unsolved.
How very sad. We no longer burn witches but older women are still very much in danger from certain types of people. They never found her murderer. He might still be out there.
She was assassinated by the very politics that opposed her views.. left wing politics. We live in dangerous times with dangerous left wing politicians.
I do wonder what will become of the UK…especially when you are just now ridding yourselves from Starmer/Biden but seem to be opting for Burnham/Kamala Harris. The prospects are indeed frightening.

I was never a fan of hers, but later on in life began to warm to her.
