Why does the new Labour British Government HATE the elderly so much?
As we all know, one of the first things it did was to remove the up to £300 Winter Heating Allowance for most pensioners. This was a strange thing to do as they must have realised it would cause negative headlines and there were surely other areas they could have “cut back” on expenditure without overtly assaulting the elderly.
But they did it anyway. Why?
Well, here’s a clue.
As you can see, the 60+ demographic is the least favourably inclined towards Labour. It’s been like this for a long time so perhaps Labour decided there is little electoral pain for them and it punishes a hostile demographic.
There are other suggestions of more punishment to come;
And then there are further suggestions muted that would remove free travel, remove the council tax discount, means testing pensions!
In other words Labour may go to war with our pensioners.
Out of all the things Labour have done wrong so far, the stealing of the elderly's fuel allowance is their one massive mistake.
The lefties love wealth taxes, hit the rich etc, but even most of the left think its wrong to freeze/starve and single out the elderly. They will have elderly parents/grandparents who will be affected by this.
They have really shot themselves in the foot with this one, they have overnight become the new nasty party, even more nasty than the Tories!
Every pensioner that perishes makes more space and leaves more resources for labour’s newly imported electorate.
