Labour's Death Spiral....

The Germans have a word for it. Schadenfreude.

It means the experience of pleasure, from learning of the troubles, failures, or humiliation of another. So it is how I view Sir Keir Starmer’s slo-mo political death,

After the absolute disaster of last week’s Election results in England, Scotland and Wales, a price was to be paid by the Labour leader but such is his absolute narcissism that he says he is going nowhere and if anyone wants to challenge him, they should use the processes of the Party to do so.

He is so tone deaf. He says he takes responsibility for the historically bad results but then concludes that what voters want is MORE of what he has delivered but faster. He went on to claim that he has got ALL the big decisions right, which is some brass neck.

Was imprisoning people for expressing their online horror at the murder of the 3 little girls in Southport getting it right?

Was taking away the Cold Weather payment for pensioners getting it right?

Was threatening to make digital ID effectively mandatory for work and renting, then dropped the plan, getting it right?

Was pledging no national insurance rise for “working people”, but then increasing employer NI and lowered thresholds getting it right?

The truth is that he has gotten nothing right and the British people see it.

Labour are doomed with or without Starmer for one simple reason.

Socialism has never worked and it never will. When Starmer is replaced, the Party will swing further to the left. That will mean we all suffer.
