Lady Macbeth and the White House

Well, I think it is a truth universally acknowledged that President Joe Biden had the worst possible debate against Donald Trump last week. It was a truly catastrophic performance and the whole world finally got to see this decrepit hollow husk that occupies the White House. Even the likes of the BBC had to admit that it was a disaster and suddenly the question was being asked even by Democrats “Should Joe step down”?

Well, it was INSTANTLY ‘made known” by Dr Jill Biden that her husband would not be going anywhere. He (and she) would be staying put, he was the official nominee to run for a second term.

She reminded me of Lady Macbeth from the Shakespearean tragedy.
