Lying Liars and the lies they tell!

Some think that some politicians are just professional liars. They tell you what they think you want to hear to get themselves elected and then, once in power, they are happy to lie to your face in pursuance of their agendas.

Let me introduce you to Darren Jones. He is a Labour MP and number two to Rachel Reeves in the Treasury. Yes, he is Chief Minister to the Treasury. He is well positioned to become our next Chancellor when she falls from grace, which may well be by the end of this year as the UK economy tanks. Jones sees himself as an adroit media performer and is seen regularly on the mainstream media. He talks with confidence and energy - but he misleads. And it seems that he has been caught out lying.

Here he is on the the BBC flagship political programme Question Times programme from Thursday night discussing cross channel illegal migration and TELLING the audience that "the majority of the people in these boats are children, babies and women".

It is very clear what he said. The problem is that it is untrue.

The next day, Rupert Lowe, contacted the Home Office and got the facts

In fact, Nigel Farage has alsoput up a clip of 991 illegal migrants arriving on our shores yesterday and ALL I see is men. No women and no children or babies

Jones initially stayed mute as the pressure was put on his serious claim and he eventually responded with the following post.

This is pure snake oil. Listen to what he said on the BBC - he spoke of BOATS and at no point suggested that this was about one dinghy.

This abomination of a Labour Government is doing NOTHING to stop the tsunami of illegal migrants and instead it is trying to spin it as some sort of humanitarian crisis involving women and babies. Jones was rumbled and eventually, so will the Government in which he sits.
