Some people say that “conspiracy theory” is simply the unvarnished version of the truth. It was indeed the CIA who really weaponised the term “conspiracy theorist” in the early 1960’s in order to discredit critical thinkers who were pointing out all sort of anomalies surrounding the assassination of President John F Kennedy.
