When the Abortion Act 1967 was passed, it was designed to make sure that abortions were safe, legal, and medically justified. Those behind the Act claimed that they intended to limit abortions to specific cases, expecting them to be less frequent than illegal abortions had been.
Now let me introduce to Lily Allen appearing on the “Miss Me” podcast.
She can’t be quite sure how many abortions that she has had, 4 or 5 perhaps and sings a happy song about it. The co-host of the podcast, Miquita Oliver, jumps in to proudly say that has had five abortion too. Yeah, sisterhood.
This is a grotesque celebration of the murder of up to 10 babies between two women. It is plainly recreational abortion, a lifestyle choice, where the life of the infant in the womb has no meaning. How can these women think like that? Have they been stripped of common humanity? Is this what feminism means - a celebration of infanticide?
Look, I totally understand the sensitivity around this issue on all sides but I think most reasonable people will agree with me that the casual dismissal of the killing of these babies in the womb by these two women is abhorrent.
The bigger question is how representative are this pair?
A conservative estimate for the UK in 2023 is around 292,000 abortions, with projections suggesting over 300,000 based on trends and partial data.
That’s a holocaust and far removed from the intent of those like David Steel who introduced the. Act in 1967. Steel is still alive, aged 87. The millions of aborted babies between 1967-2025 never did get to enjoy anything other than a very short life and a brutal end.
God will hold those accountable for killing the innocent & the most innocent is an unborn baby. The blood of the millions of babies killed since abortion was legalized must be a bull horn in God’s ear!
