I can still remember when Labour tried to stigmatise the Conservatives as “the nasty party” but having witnessed the weekend shenanigans of Reform Leader Nigel Farage I think that it’s Reform UK that has earned that particular sobriquet. This is bad.
In a series of fast moving events yesterday, it became clear that the ‘serious charges” against Rupert Lowe are pretty much non-existent. This social media post from former Conservative MP Andrew Bridgen gave the game away..
And for further mileage, Sky News reported this;
As Lowe was being presented as the victim, it prompted this sly briefing by Nigel Farage.
This forced the following response from Rupert Lowe…
All of the above brings into account the judgment of Nigel Farage as it looks like the removal of Lowe from the Party and the calling in of the police was a vexatious waste of time. But Nigel Farage then doubled down…
Note how Nigels sees the issue as being all about him.
This truly is the Nasty Party and it needs the leadership fumigated.
The establishment has an awesome ability to influence parliament and this could well be the work of them. Having said that I don’t believe we need a party system at all, nobody voted for the party system it was imposed on us and has become the equivalent of royalty.
Time to scrap the party system and vote for individuals who live in and support the local people not someone who supports a political party with a hidden agenda.
Tice is just as bad. Chucking out random, vague smears when interviewed by CT on GB news. Can't stand him.
