Taylor Swift and the invisible Princess.

Taylor Swift. What can I say? I don’t see the attraction, don’t listen to her music, don’t see why she is a mega-star, but then again I am of an age where maybe I miss the point of her. But Prince William is a big fan and here he is with all the family getting their own “Swifty selfie” at the Wembley concert on Friday night and isn’t it sweet?

Hang on, when I say ALL the family I don’t quite mean that because someone is missing. Yes. Princess Catherine is missing. Hang on, my critics will say, she took the photograph, you idiot! That’s why she isn’t in it. I beg to differ!

Fot starters, as the photo shows, it’s Taylor Swift who is actually taking a selfy with the Wales but then a further source is picturing it. If it is Princess Catherine, that’s fair enough but WHY would she not also wish to be in it? It’s a moment of fun and enjoyment and I assume that she, like William, is of an age where they can relate to Taylor Swift! Why stay out of shot yet take the shot?

It was only last Saturday that a seemingly healthy Princess Catherine was once again revealed to the world and as I have commented, she looked well on it. Really well. So why the decision to stay out of the family pic with this mega-star? Why the shyness? Surely she would have know that had she been pictured with her husband and kids it would have further underlined her return. But there is no trace that she was there.

I know some will see it as conspiratorial but it does strike me as a little off that the Wales would go to a Taylor Swift concert and and get a selfy with Taylor Swift but make sure that Princess Catherine was kept out of shot yet take a picture of the selfy!
