Exactly so. Despite many critics of this appalling government being cock-a-hoop over the latest developments, it looks like many of them have not really understood this bit. Without loss of jobs, loss of pension, and complete public humiliation such as that suffered by the odious Paula Vennells, whit is the point of this exercise?

Lessons will be learned, new policies and procedures will be adopted, and the bureaucracy to implement them will be expanded and feather-bedded. And Starmer will twist the truth and carry on regardless.

People were hung from lamp-posts or had their severed heads put on poles for a reason....

I just knew it would be all smoke and mirrors! Two Tier would be implicated otherwise - from his time as DPP. Aaaaand people still vote Labour. What does it take?
