We really do need to ask some trenchant questions about the LGBTQ+ movement and those who lead it.
A man accused of multiple child sex offences allegedly spoke of kidnapping schoolchildren, sexually abusing boys and visiting a swimming pool to "perv", a trial has heard.
It’s an ongoing legal case but we can look at some of what has been revealed in court
Stephen Ireland, 40, who co-founded Pride in Surrey in 2018, is facing 35 charges while his flatmate David Sutton, 27, a volunteer with the organisation, is accused of 20 offences. In WhatsApp messages from 2022, Mr Sutton and Mr Ireland spoke of "snatching" or "kidnapping" a schoolchild, Guildford Crown Court heard on Thursday.
Obviously the Court will decide on the allegations against these men but it is revealing to see who are amongst the supporters of this particular “Pride” organisation.
Yes, Surrey Police.
Also this lot are big supporters, note the female cleric.
And who was their main sponsor in 2022? Well, a popular children’s play park destination.
The LGBTQ+ cult has successfully advanced its cause into so many places. Is this healthy? I think not.
It’s time it was exorcised.
I have zero tolerance for them. No words. I just show myself out.
I have, as far as I can see, no prejudices against gay people. (I say "as far as I can see" in order to acknowledge that I might have some deep-seated psychological complex which directs my thinking without me being aware of it.)
What people want to do to gain sexual pleasure is of little interest to me, and I certainly have no interest in persecuting or denigrating anyone who finds pleasure and companionship. But I can't understand two things about this "Pride" issue. The first is what anyone has to be "proud" about. We are as God or nature made us, and if - as gays like to tell us - they were born that way, then indulging in an inherited predilection is nothing to be proud about. We are justly proud of that which we have achieved. A person who successfully struggles to control sexual desire in order to remain faithful to their partner, or to fulfil a religious vocation, can be rightly proud. Otherwise, not.
I can appreciate this movement might be slightly mis-using the term and is really making the point that they will no longer accept repression. But that's ridiculous. Heterosexuals accept repression; it's one of the components of civilisation. Just imagine if we had carnivals of straight people cavorting about and simulating sexual acts, big grins on their faces as they acted out Casanova, medallion-man and hooker stereotypes in revealing clothing. "Hey, look, I like to rub my sex organs on those of a person of the opposite sex!" OK, matey, carry on....
And they now have formal equality. I think I'm right in saying that gays can have sex, get married, and do all the things straight people do. It's illegal to deny jobs and services to them. So what more do they want? Extra rights denied to heterosexuals? A complete re-ordering of standards of modesty in public? Access to children for sex?
I would be against all those. Having achieved legal equality, the sensible gays have settled down to whatever lifestyle they choose, and are just as boring, wonderful, obnoxious, and normal as the rest of us. The campaigners, though, seem very dodgy...
