People complain that we are not taught our history anymore and that is almost correct but in fact it is worse that just not teaching history, it is about teaching fake history. Now some of my conspiratorial minded readers may believe that most taught history is fake, and I have a lot of sympathy with that point of view but there are degrees of fakery and looking at what is actually TAUGHT to our children in secondary school, I conclude that they are being brain-washed to accept woke fake history.
Have a look at this data.
The Transatlantic slave trade is on a par with Britain at 100%. Magna Carta is significantly behind this and pivotal British battles such as Agincourt and Trafalgar/Waterloo all but ignored. Colonisation is ahead of the Glorious Revolution and the Abolition of Slavery beats Britain in WW2.
You can see what is going on here. The Education Establishment which has been captured by the Marxists for many decades wants to teach our children to be ashamed of their past, to damn it. The HUGE emphasis on Slavery is entirely unjustified but the product of woke liberal ideologues who presumably go to bed at night crying about it. Essentially, all we need to know is that whilst slavery was wrong, it has always been a product of successful Empires and Britain ENDED the Transatlantic slave trade at massive cost to itself. I bet children are not taught that slavery continues in the Muslim world.
If you don’t understand your past, you can be manipulated into accepting a dystopia future that betrays all that has gone before. I believe that Britain really did great things and some terrible things. All major Empires and nations face this charge but we have provided some indisputable lasting global achievements;
Magna Carta established the principle that everyone, including the king, is subject to the law, laying the foundation for constitutional governance and individual rights worldwide. It is absolutely pivotal to understanding our history and should be at the core of the history curriculum.
The Industrial Revolution pioneered in Britain mechanised manufacturing, steam power, and modern engineering, transforming global economies and societies forever
Yes, we DID abolish the wicked Slave Trade (1807) and we should be proud of that. There is zero need to feel guilty in any way
We gave the world Shakespeare, Milton, Dickens. Our contribution to the world of literature and poetry is without equal
Let's remember that invention of the World Wide Web by the British scientist Tim Berners Lee which really has changed ALL of our lives and how we communicate.
There is much to debate about “official history” and I think that critical thought is crucial but by the same token I think woke historical indoctrination is an abomination.

Your list is great and there are many, many more. I would posit that that is their problem. How can they argue that all cultures, creeds and nations are equal when the evidence otherwise is staring them in the face every bloody day and minute of their (miserable) lives..
I'm glad we now know that Stonehenge was obviously built by black people
