The problem with gradual change is that you don’t really get perspective on it as it unfolds, and then, when you DO realise what has happened, it may be too late!
I believe most people started seeing the decline (those who are old enough) over the past few decades. Liebour and Tories just refused to do anything about it.
Under the UK and India Social Security Agreement, temporary workers sent by an India-based employer to the UK for up to 60 months do not pay UK National Insurance. The playing field isn't level, it's tilted. The indigenous workforce have an uphill task.
Thanks for researching and highlighting this David-everywhere a light is shone the rubbish piling up in the corners becomes more apparent. What a mess. The DEI farce has played an active role in this, eg a couple of years ago NHS England issued "guidance" which effectively enforced "diversity" ratios including shortlisting candidates by ethnicity. As a result white UK trained and born candidates were frequently excluded and sought work overseas, the NHS then claimed staff shortages and recruited overseas from the global majority.
The drive towards the Great Replacement continues
O, what a fall was there, my countrymen! Then I, and you, and all of us fell down, Whilst bloody treason flourish’d over us
During the lockdown when the vaccine was enforced on care staff ( mostly young women) they learned that it would endanger their reproductive health and hundreds of thousands decided against it. They quit their jobs and were replaced by Indian men (mostly) and India didn’t enforce the vaccine and somehow, when we couldn’t fly anywhere, they could.
The list of reputable sources is disreputable because they are dominated by big pharma and the leader of the cdc has recently pleaded guilty over 100 times as he used the 5th Amendment. Finding sources is not hard, my daughter and niece found them in 2020/1
It's always been about getting the cheapest workforce possible.
Something the Jason Arday case has made clear is that the "elites" who make these decisions, those who genuinely believe they know best, are gullible fools. No need to assume malice, when incompetence explains everything.
They are conducting a cover up and blaming the far right for their own delusional and ideological elevation of a low quality academic. They will do exactly the same thing for appointing low quality doctors, care workers, bus drivers, anything, Not that all of the migrants in those roles are low quality. The problem is those appointing don't know and don't care. Disasters will be covered up.
With legal mass immigration (subtly different to asylum seeking), the real problems are a few years down the line. It's when those imported to do work on the cheap start claiming benefits. When they - and their dependents who have paid nothing in to the system - qualify for pension credit. (pension credit is the pension benefit for those who haven't paid enough in NI, it gives them much the same as the state pension and you only need to be a resident, not a citizen to get it...it's shocking). It's when they need health care as they age yet never paid enough in to cover it.
I believe this is a mixture of incompetence and short termism. Politicians don't care about anything other than winning votes. For 20 years, they've got people hooked on benefits to get their vote. Flooding in migrants is another way - a significant majority vote Labour. And it's now such a large number, the Tories are terrified of upsetting them, too.
The system is starting to crumble and we are sleepwalking into totalitarian, Soviet mode. Governments only interested in controlling the narrative - because they have no idea how to put the lid back down on the Pandoras box that they opened.
From their point of view, if they stop mass immigration, there will be an outcry. Because our institutions are captured by identity politics, there would be an outcry telling us the nation will collapse, that we are worse than Germany in the 1930s. Petitions signed by thousands of "professors" (yeah, we've learnt a lot about them recently..) warning of the end of the world. It would be so intense and many people would believe it, hence it loses votes,
Alternatively, keep things as they are, the pressure gets turned up, day by day more people are waking up to the disaster of mass immigration and identity politics, hence you lose votes.
Whoever is in power will lose votes, whatever they do! The Tories since 2020 and Labour today are evidence of this. Who will they lose them to? . Reform may well win, my guess is they, like Labour, would get 1 term, the civil service and captured insititutions would prevent any real change. Reform would lose votes.
If they lose them to The Greens, then there will be no hope, best look to emigrate before the economy collapses, the prisons are opened and the zombies walk the streets.
I hope that in the broader picture, Europe finally wakes up the the mess,. It was a Europe-wide project that brought us into the mess, not the UK alone. And it will need a co ordinated, Europe wide (well, global, including the US, Canada, Australia..) effort to make the change of direction to get us out of it.
Meanwhile, David Cameron told the Indian Prime Minister that there was a job for any Indian who wanted to come and the King encourages our multi-cultural nation as if it's a great achievement.
This is partly to do with the Commonwealth obsession of the Royal family. They still want to rule an Empire really. It's gone, kids. Get over it. It's nice to have allies but we have to protect British jobs first. Remigration is going to be a thing the next government must address.
A very perceptive analysis of the link between mass migration, involving in the main non-EU immigrants,. and the pressure on the employment market and other areas of the economy. This makes many salient points but of course the Leftists in control of the country will continue to plough their own furrow, ignoring the warning signs. It is very difficult to predict how things will be looking by the time of a next General Election, but I think voters will be desperate to see the back of these Far Leftists (if there is still any remaining trust in government).

If you give out benefits for nothing why would people work having worked two jobs till retirement i cant believe it

Voting in ReformUK is our only hope now.

Great insightful comment! Thx

Exactly right Kat
💯, all just part of the systemic long-term agenda, to demoralise, emisserate and impoverish the native populations of the D-UK and rest of the West.

I agree, but I'm now also suspicious of the voting system & how easy it is apparently to rig the system.
