Why does the BBC support Islam?

Over the past few weeks, I have been paying close attention to the BBC’s coverage of the Iranian revolution. At first, there was silence. The BBC studiously avoided any comment during the first 7 days of street protests. That in itself was curious, after all the BBC has a BBC Persia channel with journalists employed to cover issues arising in the issue. But even as the brave Iranians risked the wrath of the Mullahs and took to the streets in vast numbers, no one at the BBC was saying very much and they certainly won’t showing anything.

That changed when we got to the one week in phase. Suddenly, the BBC woke from its slumber and explained that these protests were about economic reasons. This was a half lie. The fundamental purpose of the protests was to bring down the Islamic Republic. Iranians are NOT muslims but they are ruled by muslims - radical dark ages muslims. The fact that the ruling regime has wrecked the economy is an issue, of course, but let’s be clear that it was not the primary reason for revolt. The BBC was twisting the narrative in a way that sanitised the wickedness of the Mullah regime.

Then came the cutting of the internet phase. This is ongoing. Suddenly, video footage showing all that was happening became scarce. The BBC moved to their next stage by claiming the street protests were fizzling out and things were reverting to normal. The Islamic Government had prevailed and we could all go back to sleep.

At every stage, the BBC has done everything possible to ameliorate the anger felt by the people towards the Islamic Government. They ignore, they sanitise and they distract. This is seen by Iranian ex-pats who recognise the deception being carried out by the BBC. In summary, the BBC is shamelessly shilling for one of the very worst Islamic Governments in the world!
