I remember the golden age of YouTube and podcasting back around 2014-2016 when Milo, Mike Cernovich, Stefan Molyneux, Jo Rogan and Infowars were absolutely dominating the algorithms. Once Britain voted to leave the EU and Trump got in the censorship became relentless.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Starmer just gave Ofcom the power to regulate social media, including podcasts. Government subsidised organisations like HNH already have a degree of influence.
I’ve literally tweeted this into his feed multiple times now. Can you ask your followers to do ao? And ask them to demand government bodies and ministers not shut off replies either. We also need to get ourselves onto the Community Notes group so we can challenge everything they say. Can you imagine if we community noted every government post???
Let’s not forget, a lot of ‘fake news’ & propoganda comes from Govt sources and it’s MSM allies - they’re not interested in quashing fake news per se, just the truths & alternate opinions, they don’t want you accessing, that’s currently outside their control
