Thanks Rupert Lowe for speaking up on this - please keep at it. They are in this country where animal cruelty is banned- no matter what their cult instructs. They need to adapt - urgently.

Ban all these medieval Islamic practices in the UK - if they want to continue with them they have plenty of Islamic states to go back to.

It is in human. I did see thus culture when in Tunisia on a tour. They had a sheep hanging up outside the so called shop. Alive and bleeding out. This is from the stone age's. Not the British way of being human with animals. If the Muslims what animals killed alive. Then do it in a country that allows this cruelty. We are not Nazis or picking on muslims as one Muslim MP has called British people when it was being debated.

Of all the barbaric practices of Islam and kosher this is the one that upsets me the most. Islam has commandeered an increasing number of abbatoir now. I think it starts with the farmers. There must be something they can do to avoid sending their animals to these places, to put them out of business.

The Netherlands is having the same debate. I just watched a clip on non-stun practices of cattle. It is horrendous. It takes 40 seconds for the animal to die - and that's when all "goes well".

For me it’s having to consume it without being told. A lot of food outlets, like 5 guys, serve it as a matter of course because they know they will lose Muslim customers if they don’t. Christians can go hang. Same in a lot of schools and hospitals. Its just more pandering to a religion who’s practices II do not adhere to and it’s dishonest.

Ok, I agree with this. However, much as I dislike Islam and consider it to be harmful and vastly inferior to Judaism and Christianity, we have to accept that this is also an issue for Kosher food preparation.
