I don’t mind that Netflix are going to this. What I do mind is the one sidedness of it all. There’s nothing wrong with a black actor playing the part of a white person — not to me anyway because race isn’t a big deal — but what’s wrong is that it never works the other way.

I remember watching Lenny Henry play in a Shakespeare play and he was brilliant, it didn’t matter a damn what his skin colour was.

But that was in the days before the leftist global elites created DIVISION EXCLUSION & INEQUALITY.

But just try casting a white actor to play a black figure…all hell breaks loose. I don’t support anachronistic race casting…PURE DEI B.S.! Actually, to clarify, if you are going for historical accuracy in set design and costume and story, but race cast…yeah, NO. You create something more experimental that is in no way going for historical accuracy? Have at it.

I loved Denzil Washington as the Duke in Kenneth Branagh’s marvellous version of “Much Ado About Nothing”. But I just love Denzil Washington and it was such a great film. It did trouble me a bit that he was a little too tanned for the role but it was FICTION! So you can take a bit of licence. When it’s history, you can’t. It’s just plain Wrong.

Maybe there isn’t enough work for black actors but as they constantly flood the screen disproportionately and the ads are full of them, I doubt it. This is sickening virtue-signalling and trying to poke the white viewers in the eye. It’s actually rather racist in itself. It’s certainly disrespectful.
