I remember dressing up as Santa one Christmas in order that my young nephew who wouldn’t go to sleep would not see his dad replacing the pillow case at the bottom of his bed . The problem was my sister and family were staying over on Christmas Eve but all sleeping in the same room. My brother in law kept popping in to see if he was asleep to no avail . I suggested they retire and I would do the deed. I hastily got together some white wadding , a red shawl and a torch. When I looked at my reflection with dim lighting I almost jumped as I did look just like Santa.

The problems arose because he did see me enter the room and was so convinced that he saw the real Santa enter carrying a “ candle” that years later he was being ridiculed by his school friends for still believing. My sister had to step in and give him the bad news !😂

Some Muslim children have started at our local primary school. A few have been telling the others that santa doesn't exist. It's an awkward one for teachers who have parents call to complain to them that their children have come home and said Mo or whoever told them santa isn't real.

I think we can see the harm the santa figure might bring spiritually, red pill wise. It's a traditional for many just the same.
