The thing is that I knew people who were seriously ill and one who died, so, yes, I did take it seriously. Why would I believe it to be a scam, if I couldn't get hold of friends for 3 days or so, and, when I did, they said that it was the worst thing that they had suffered and that they had been delirious. I never considered it a scam; I just didn't want to go through what they had been through. This was all before there were vaccines. I think it all depended on one's particular experience.

My concern now is that we're being led into the digital trap we heard about. By those we thought were draining the swamp. 5D chess anyone?

No lessons were learned. We still haven’t reopened the cottage hospitals, which would have relieved the problems during COVID and save the ambulance “wards” we still suffer today.
