The side of honour & freedom in the Ukraine War would be the Russian side. The Ukraineans are on the side of the Axis, the Nazis. It's not complicated. Leftist regimes across Europe are the new emerging Nazis.

Jonathan Safran Foer wrote a story about the Nazis in Ukraine and it was made into a film called Everything is Illuminated by the Light of the past. Its brilliant work- not aggressive in the storytelling or the film - beautiful and very touching. Leaves a lasting memory tinged with sorrow for the suffering of the Ukrainian Jewish people.

so while your people were fighting for Stalin and the Bolshevik Communists, Bandera was wasting away in a German concentration camo. When they released him in 44 he defied the Germans by declarung an independent Ukraine. All while your people were fighting for the Soviets. So who is the bad guys? You and your people are the bad guys.

Its truly horrible David. Its a history for Ukraine to be ashamed of and atone for - if even possible -starting with respect for the traditions and ceremonies of Britain expressed by standing down on inflammatory propped up hate. Anything else is a disgrace. But they were put up to it. And hopefully they are a minority of fools for parading about as such.

Thank you, David for this important point of historical data I had never heard before.

I'm old enough to remember WWII war heroes who were still in their prime but never spoke about it.

The local VW dealership was owned by a former NAZI. Former Dutch Resistance were some of his employees.

They had all become AMERICANS.

The past was not forgotten, but the former hatred was buried.

What we have now is the zombie resurrection of evil. And it is getting stronger.

Will a leader rise up and lead the war against the evil or we be forced to engage privately?

The lines of demarcation are becoming more pronounced.

Well said, David! Yet again you get straight to the heart of the matter!

I have not supported the yellow and blue flag of Ukraine at all. From the outset I knew that Russians in Crimea and Donbas (where they are in a majority) said they were afraid of the Nazi groups in western Ukraine. There was already serious trouble from them before Putin broke the rules and marched in for various other reasons too.

The Ukrainians were in the side of Nazis in WWII and manned the security of many of the notorious Concentration Camps. And very nasty they were too. Now, I am far from being a Communist but I hope I know right from wrong and my instincts told me not trust Zelensky but to feel for the frightened mothers’ of young Russians who gathered to protest outside the Kremlin. They know about the Ukrainians better than we do.
