Nazis on parade during VE80

This week sees the UK celebrating the 80th anniversary of the ending of World War 2 in Europe. It is an important occasion as the nation takes a moment to remember how we helped defeat the Nazi menace. So I was shocked if not surprised to see this as part of OUR celebrations in London yesterday.

Yes, a small number of Ukrainians got to parade along the Mall. In fact the media kept interviewing them as we see below…

Now I have a problem with this and it’s really simple.

When OUR forefathers were fighting the Nazis, many Ukrainians fought WITH the Nazis. Yes, in WW2, Ukraine (then part of the Soviet Union of course) aligned with the Nazis and carried out their own holocaust against the Jews.

On the eve of World War II, Ukraine was home to one the largest Jewish communities in Europe, with estimates as high as 2.7 million, a remarkable number considering the territory’s long record of antisemitism and pogroms. By the end, more than half would perish. When German troops took control of Kyiv in 1941, they were welcomed by “Heil Hitler” banners. Soon after, nearly 34,000 Jews — along with Roma and other “undesirables” — were rounded up and marched to fields outside the city on the pretext of resettlement only to be massacred in what became known as the “Holocaust by bullets.”

To this day, Stepan Bandera, a renowned Nazi collaborator, is lionised by elements within the Ukrainian military and has statues erected to his memory. Consider the infamous Azov Battalion still operating in Ukraine today. Many of its soldiers take pride in the Swastika, getting it tattooed on their bodies and waving that flag. Now, I do understand how complex things were in WW2 in Ukraine but let’s be honest about it - it is completely inappropriate to let a former Nazi sympathising regime trade its troops through London as we remember our battle against the Nazis.

This is the British Government manipulating the occasion to keep pushing the Ukraine psyops and it sickens me,
