Pride comes before the Fall!

Today sees the start of Pride Month and I think the whole thing has become pretty shameful and sordid.

Let me be really clear about it; I don’t care what your sexual orientation is just so long as you keep it to yourself and keep it in private. I think our sexuality is a personal thing not a public event!

Pride itself has long since abandoned its origins in gay rights activism. What started as a fight against criminalisation and discrimination has mutated. It’s now a corporate-sponsored ideology that demands total affirmation of gender fluidity, puberty blockers for children, and the dismantling of single-sex spaces. I think the “T” in LGBT has hijacked the movement and we see this manifest in these Pride parades.

June Pride functions less as a celebration and more as an enforced orthodoxy. Just you dare and oppose it, they say, see what happens to you. Challenge accepted!

Of course many of those big Corporations that race to slap rainbows all over their products also quietly support regimes and ideologies that persecute gay people. Rainbow capitalism exposes the absolute hollowness that lies at its core. Those Banks and brands that spent decades ignoring gay rights suddenly discover virtue when it boosts their sales!

Pride Public parades increasingly feature nudity, simulated and actual sex acts and kink displays in front of families. It’s gross and indecent. What was once a reasonable demand for tolerance has morphed into a demand for celebration of adult sexual expression in public.

If you talk to some of the LGB people you will find that they are terrified of incurring the wrath of the T people. Feminists, gay people uncomfortable with the new orthodoxy, and even ordinary citizens questioning this face deplatforming, harassment and professional destruction. The T is terror!

True diversity of thought has been sacrificed on the altar of compulsory celebration and there is no pride in that!

Pride Month does no advance equality. Instead it enforces an ideology that puta feelings over biology, adults over children, and activism over evidence. It can be at least argued that the original fight for gay rights deserved better than this hijacking by extremists? Then again perhaps this is what happens when we discover what really lies at the end of the rainbow?
