Activist organisations approach companies to provide diversity or sensitivity training or to audit them for compliance. For a fee, they will issue you with a little logo which is a seal of gay approval. They point out all the other competitors who have this, and how good it is for your business.
Of course, the alternative to having it might be insidious comparisons, awkward questions, social media campaigns, twitter storms. CEOs tied up explaining to the media about the demonstrations at head office.

This is contentious but they call themselves gay because they’re sad and have pride month because they’re ashamed. Some people blame the normies for this some blame the not normal but that language is probably not acceptable I don’t know.
