I don’t know. I started this substack with high hopes but I don’t feel like that some days anymore. I find it dispiriting to see so few people engage with what I say which makes me think it’s not worth saying. I do appreciate you few loyal supporters who do engage with me and who like my posts. If it weren’t for you I would be gone. I always do my best to post content here daily but it’s feeling like a grind. I don’t know why but a post on substack gets around 1000th of the reactions/engagement I get elsewhere. The irony is I love writing and always have done so. The growth here is very modest and it has the effect of making me think I am pushing water uphill. So what do you think?

tough call. I agree with much of what you write about although being an American I don't have a background on UK politics, so I don't feel qualified to comment about those posts. Another issue for me is that I subscribe to a lot of substacks and I just don't have the time to comment on every one, sometimes not even the time to read the articles. Substack is a great place for writers to share views that would get them kicked off of other platforms but it's become crowded! That's a good thing but the effect is that it takes longer for writers to build up a large following.
I've appreciated your posts. Good luck with whatever you decide.
Much as I enjoy your Substack read I too am somewhat dismayed at the lack of response and likes . So I would have to agree with you if you decided to concentrate on the podcasts. I would be absolutely lost and distraught if you decided to give them up, as I look forward to your angle on topical news stories every day.
