Copied from previous post - Over 600,000 Canadians joined to fight for the UK during the Great War. Over 60,000 died. To be thrown under the bus by UK PM Starmer is a betrayal of the blood Canadians spilled for Britain. Shame on Starmer.
No one knows their history. This is a big problem for the structure of society. We’ve all become selfish. There are some audio interviews of Mrs Thatcher talking about her upbringing, and her ascent to power. Regardless of what anyone thinks of her, it’s clear her work ethic and outlook from her Methodist background, defined her. Society has chosen the easy option.
Yes, we do have a long history of Freedom of Speech but here is the man who is destroying it and imprisoning people - on his own orders - for speaking out.
He is rude and lacking in modesty or good manners, cutting across J D Vance like that and refuting what Vance said. He should remember he is not our Head of State, he’s just a Prime Minister. The Shogun not the Emperor. He will pay for that pride. Vance is like the Prince of Wales, the next in line if the King/President falls. Starmer can fall much more easily than Trump or Vance. I think they will find him as arrogant and unappealing as we do.
Hilarious to hear Starmer’s response. Really..! Wow we can take that to the bank then? Like winter fuel allowance, student debt, limiting immigration and all the other pre-election promises? What a relief!
I was squirming at how sycophantic Starmer was presenting the invitation to meet with King Charles - pathetic and embarrassing- please Trump don’t fall for this pathetic politicians sweet talk. Well done Vance for reiterating the US view of UK censorship but again the audacity of Starmer to say we have free speech in the UK and that he is very proud of it - a bare faced lie and we the Uk citizens and US administration know it - a pathetic and awful man

I realize there’s a lot of pressure on Starmer, however that being said he could have handled it differently.
You’re very generous
I cringe every time I hear Starmlers nasal utterings he sounds like a character from a Two Ronnie's sketch,
such a plastic personality, I have come to despise this little tyrant!
Hahaha! Starmer is so dumb. The Americans were toying with him.
Who the hell chose this utter Stasi CRETIN to speak for US in the USA - Chubby Brown could have done better than this commie PRAT !

In the court, and kissing the ring!
