Fry is a pompous old luvvy. I had to restrain myself from using a harsher performative.

So, according to Fry, believing that you can't change sex, means you're a radical. And his use of the word 'TERF' shows him up for what he really is. An extremist transgender advocate.

Someone should ask him what exactly does homosexuality and transgenderism actually have in common. Some of the gay/lesbian community have been brave enough to tell the truth over this. They have nothing in common. The former is a mental illness, the latter a sexual preference.

JK Rowling is the one who speaks common sense, not Fry.

I doubt she will mourn the loss of his friendship.

And also, she doesn't embarrass herself by knocking about with someone 29 years younger than her. I wonder would Fry's fancy toyboy would be so enamoured with the wrinkly old reprobate, if Fry was working on a building site? He's probably yearning for the day when Fry snuffs it and he gets his hands on his millions.

A last point. Look at the GB News headline. 'Author JK Rowling sparked a bitter row".

No she didn't. It was Fry. Shame on you GB News.

Well, he would have to come out against JK Rowling, wouldn't he? And if she has been hardened by all this abuse which has been piled on her, why not add to the vile slime on Social media? Surely it be noticed by his fellow heel-kissers at the BBC if he failed to add his voice to the chorus of disapproval of her "cruelty" towards transgender people?

Long live JK Rowling! I have always loved her work and now I love her even more for her courage to defend the truth

Substitute pejorative for performative. That was auto correct.

He maybe smart and quick witted but he is a fool.

A man can never become a woman or visa versa.

Typical Oxbridge commy, spent his uni days fagging himself out for the older posh boys in the rec room, handling their sausages and offering around his buttered muffin to be shared by all, has a propensity for the younger boys in the school choir and is a full on establishment shill who is wheeled out to profer his plummy educated opinions when a pushed narrative begins to backfire, I wonder what it is that the 007 squad have over him that they can use to nudge him into the media space when required?

Exactly. Rowling is simply accepting reality. Transgender actually doesn't exist.

Losing friends over opinions on sex, politics or religion is such a silly thing to do. If Fry was half was clever as he likes to appear, he would have made no public comment.

Being homosexual and being a trans are totally different things but I have read that the Pride and LGBT+ community doesn’t know what do with itself or with all its money now there’s nothing more to protest about for gays. Could explain a lot. I support JKR. She’s been a torchbearer for the truth and common sense.

Stephen Fry is a clown. He’s enjoyed an immense level of privilege throughout his life, much I suspect a result of being a pro establishment mouthpiece and loyalist. I couldn’t care less what he says about anything and neither, I suspect, does JK Rowling.
