This consciousness connection with ancestors is sorely missing at the moment. If we honoured them like you are, it would be harder for individuals to act out. I have come to belief we are also living for those who came before us. Spiritually, if we work on becoming the best of ourselves in all our actions, we are ultimately working to heal them too. I also experience the curiosity you mention for my lost relatives. I’m glad you brought this up. Thank you

I know what you mean. My first grandchild is due in July I'm fretting about how old they'll be when I peg it, what they'll remember about me, and what will happen when I've gone. Same with everyone I suppose.

I felt the same standing at the grave of my great grandparents grave . I do remember my great grandmother as a very old lady but her husband had died many years before. We also share the same names and yes it’s strange looking at a headstone with your name on it!
