I remember having measles as a kid and everyone else had it too and I don’t remember anyone being seriously sick because of it, but we’re told people die of it!!

When I was a child there was almost nobody who showed the very serious effects of autism, today it’s everywhere.
As for Piers Morgan and his hypocritical wife, they wanted Christmas cancelled because of “convid” and then flew to the Caribbean to enjoy their Christmas.
I didn’t let my children have the MMR but they were normal healthy children and they went through the childhood illnesses like we all had to. It was horrible but my fear of reducing them to cabbages by my own negligence was too great to bear. We had TB and Polio jabs but I was wary of the MMR after bad reports, which were later said to be untrue. I still had serious doubts though and played it safe.
Perhaps I was wrong. My grandchildren are being vaccinated for everything possible. I fear for them. Do we need better, more public examination of these vaccines?
I too refused the MMR to my daughters for the same reason. I could keep them as healthy as possible with nutritious food etc to build their immunity when they caught illnesses but if they had a bad reaction to MMR there was nothing I could do. I did get a lot of pressure put on me by the GP but I stood firm. Far too many vaccines used nowadays imo.
It’s a really difficult decision to make, isn’t it? I fear many children are being jabbed now because mother has to get work and can’t nurse them if they fall ill. More support for mothers to return to work but have the time at home to care for children and aged parents needs to be considered.
I’m going back to late 1970s and early 80s. I think the pressure will be greater now. Too much profit for big pharma and incentives for GPs? My family is well aware of my anti-vaccine stance. No flu jabs etc. my parents were the same and they lived till 91 and 93! I leave it up to my daughters to decide for their children but they tend to be the same as me.
