I have not heard anything about the Hendrix death from this perspective you described David. A piano player I know here had a dad in the police service. He told me almost all murders are over money sex or drugs. Truly makes sense that the manager would be capable of killing the artist for self interest and money. There are a lot of scum bags on the pop music industry feedingvoff the artists. A lot of the biographies describe this phenomenon.

Either wind pipe, or oesophagus, full of wine 🍷 was what I heard too.

It seemed to be a ritualistic killing from some reports.

The ‘27’ club as it’s called, is a popular curiosity. My mother studied astrology. And the astrology community put this anomaly down to something called Saturn’s return. It’s a slow moving planet that comes around approx every 27 to 29 years, within a person’s birth chart. Whether it’s coincidence or not, a lot of interesting things seem to happen for people at these times. Harold Shipman started murdering around the time of his first Saturn’s return, and got caught around the second. I’m unsure what I personally make of astrology these days, given that it’s probably something the ‘dark side’ indulge in, along with the occult.

It’s very interesting.

Some of the stories in the music industry of that era do appear Mob like. Everything was cash at the door on live performances, and I’ve heard so many stories over the years about managers and venue owners. I think Jimmy Saville started off running clubs up north. The violence of the doorman aspect at that time, can only mean bad company and ethics all round.
