As the dust settles in the Canadian election, there is one question that we should consider and it is this; Pierre Poilievre and the Conservatives achieved a 41.4% vote share in the recent election, the highest for any party since Brian Mulroney’s 1988 majority win.
Like David mentioned before, the liberals are so well organised because they’re so well funded. They don’t ask for money: they take their funding from taxpayers of all persuasions via the quangocracy. Example: Struggling Brits are now being forced to pay higher rents because their own tax money is driving up rents as Serco source housing for illegal immigrants. And we all know the liberals control the media…

I really wish we could establish a label other than "Liberal" to describe these people. I know it is capitalised but there is nothing liberal about them. Just as there is nothing democratic about the "Democrat" party.
And here in the UK the 3rd/4th/5th political party compounds the piss-taking by joining them together ...
For a Brit you have excellent insight into what’s going on in Canada. What irks me is that the rest of the world says that Mark Carney is a genius prince of knowledge who will rule Canada such that the streets will be paved with gold. But, we all know that some people get demoted upwards, and this guy does not impress me. He took full credit for Canada‘s escaping the 2008 economic breakdown, but we who followed the debacle know that it was actually the conservative government at the time, led by Stephen Harper, that did the heavy lifting to keep Canada safe. My goodness how I miss Stephen Harper!
Thx Bonnie. I became very aware of how awful Carney was when Governor of the Bank of England. He was a total con man. Ask Liz Truss how grim he was. I feel bad for Canadians who are now going to have this clown as PM. I think he may be more dangerous than Trudeau.
